Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 2026
Our Commitment
Slide Practice is committed to making Slide Practice accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Conformance Status
Slide Practice targets conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have performed a comprehensive internal audit covering keyboard navigation, focus indicators, color contrast, ARIA labels, screen-reader compatibility, prefers-reduced-motion support, and form labelling. A third-party accessibility audit is scheduled before the June 14, 2026 public launch.
Specific Commitments
- Skip-to-content link: every page exposes a “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element.
- Focus indicators: all interactive elements show a visible 2px forest-green outline on keyboard focus, with 2px offset.
- Color contrast: body text meets the WCAG AA 4.5:1 minimum; large text meets 3:1. Footer text on dark background is set at ≥5.4:1.
- Reduced motion: animations respect
prefers-reduced-motion; the grain overlay and recap-demo loop both disable animation when the user opts out. - Form labels: every input has a programmatically associated
<label>; required fields are marked witharia-required. - Heading order: every page has exactly one
<h1>and no skipped heading levels. - Icon-only buttons: every icon-only control has an
aria-label.
Compatibility
Slide Practice works with the latest versions of major web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and the most-used screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver). Mobile screen readers (TalkBack on Android, VoiceOver on iOS) are tested on the booking and portal flows.
Technical Specifications
Slide Practice relies on semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible. Known gaps as of May 2026: the recap-demo timeline animation is decorative-only and skipping it does not reduce information; the dashboard data tables do not yet expose row-level keyboard reordering. We are working to address these and welcome reports.
